The second volume in Heritage’s Fou Ts’ong series focussing on his early career features his Westminster recording of two of Beethoven’s late piano sonatas (Op. 109 & 110). Also included are 10 Chopin mazurkas – performances which were recorded soon after Fou Ts’ong received the Polish Radio Mazurka prize at the 1955 Warsaw International Chopin Competition.
