Sir David Willcocks is synonymous with Christmas. Heritage’s latest release features Willcocks conducting two rarely performed twentieth century Christmas cantatas by Geoffrey Bush and George Dyson. The disc also features two bonus tracks, John Ireland’s perennial favourite, The Holy Boy and the rare postlude for strings by Heathcote Statham, The Bells of St. Chads.

Britten’s Ceremony for Carols also appears in a composer-conducted performance with the Copenhagen Boys’ Choir.
